Vauxhall has joined forces with Tesco, the supermarket giant, to offer an innovative solution for electric vehicle (EV) charging.

This partnership aims to make electric charging more accessible and convenient for EV drivers across the UK, especially for new Vauxhall electric vehicle customers.

New Vauxhall electric vehicle customers will receive one year’s free charging credit at Tesco stores throughout the UK. This initiative provides a significant advantage for those who purchase an electric Vauxhall car or van directly from a Vauxhall retailer or through the online store. 

With 2,700 charging bays across 619 Tesco stores nationwide, Tesco holds the title for the country’s largest retail electric vehicle charging network. These charging stations offer a mix of 7kW, 22kW, 50kW, and 75kW charging options. Moreover, over 70% of the UK population can reach a Tesco store within a 10-minute drive, enhancing ease and convenience for electric vehicle drivers.

The collaboration between Vauxhall and Tesco is not just about free charging; it also involves updating all 2,700 charging bays with a co-branded Vauxhall & Tesco livery. This branding serves as a testament to the commitment of both companies to promote sustainable mobility and support the growing community of electric vehicle drivers.
